My heart is heavy. My brother, David, and his wife Robyn, lost her momma unexpectedly yesterday. They are devastated. Please pray for them. I wish I could take away their pain.
Yesterday was a rough day...but thank you Karson for catching fireflies with me when I felt better last night. It fed my soul! You are the sweetest little girl! and i love you.
I'm so sorry to hear about David's mother in law. I will pray for them ~ I will ask God to give Robyn strength and to help her remember with love all that her mother was to her. With God, time heals.

I never could have gotten away from that horrible place without your help. Everyday when I pick up my bible and see the words you wrote inside, I smile. From my heart and my soul, I smile. Thank you so much for giving me strength, and for carrying me through on the days I didn't think I could do it. Thank you for giving me courage to move forward, and to stop looking back. ReplyDeleteThis correspondence may come as somewhat of a surprise. But as you well know life is full of them. The remarkable thing is how beautifully you continue to react and grow with them.
I remember the first time I spent a significant amount of time with you... We were with the Palmer's at an air show. You as Colette's guest and me as Shane's. You, a young little lady around 10 years old and I thought what a spitfire....... or firefly. You have always in my mind carried such an incredible presence of deep strength. In getting to know you a bit more in the years to follow and witnessing the adversities you conquered in life you impress me beyond belief. You are a true role model through every up and down day of your life. I could not think of a better equiped person to command this battle and conquer yet again. I admire you for all that you are. Keep hold tight of your wonderful sense of humor.
